Ken graduated in 1975 from UBC with a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Urban Land. He became a licenced Realtor the same year and spent the next two years selling real estate in the Richmond area. For the following 8 years he served as a Mortgage Consultant and was one of the first Mortgage Brokers to affiliate with a major Lender to solicit mortgages on a "no fee" bases. He worked closely with a large group of Realtors and Mortgage Lenders and helped influence the change to the industry into what it is today. At the time because of his recognition he was recruited by many of the major Real Estate Companies to do seminars and training for their new Realtors. In 1986 Ken returned to the Real Estate industry with Re/Max and has been selling homes in the Greater Vancouver area since. Ken is very familiar with and has served his clients throughout Vancouver, Richmond, South Delta and White Rock.
Over the years his performance has earned him MLS Medallion Awards, Re/Max 100% Club, Re/Max Executive Club, Re/Max Presidents Club and he is currently a member of the Re/Max Hall of Fame. He sat on the Regional Group Advertising Advisory Committee for Re/Max for 2 years. From a community standpoint Ken was an active member of the local chapter of BNI (Business Network Intl) for 3 years.
During his years of actively selling real estate Ken has been involved in the sale of new and used homes, project marketing, foreclosures and the subdivision of small or large parcels of land. Ken has also been involved with building new homes and is very knowledgeable of the construction industry. Because of his diversified experience he feels he is very equipped to handle any of your real estate concerns and prides himself in his thoroughness and attention to detail.
Outside of real estate Ken was a Director for many years of a local Credit Union with assets of approximately $315 Million. In his role as a Director he completed the process of merging with another Credit Union that doubled the asset size.He served on many committees including the Audit committee and sat as second Vice President before the merger. His experience has been personally rewarding and he has enjoyed working with a financial institution with its grass roots in the community. It also offered him more insight into financial and economic trends. Recently Ken has stepped down as a Director after 18 years on the Board.
On a personal level Ken has been married for 41 years and has two grown children and 3 grand children. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys golf, skiing, and recently retired from slo-pitch where has he travelled to three National events. Ken is a member of Richmond Country Club and enjoys the camaraderie of a large group of friends with a common interest.

Referrals are a large part of Ken's business and working hard to satisfy those referral sources is the goal. There is no greater vote of confidence than a past client referring a friend or relative and feeling comfortable that they will get the same quality of service that they received.
